The Sun is God, 1980

This is Cyril's last painting. He died a few days after completing it. Despite signs of mental disintegration, he still pursues his life-long obsession with dynamic sunlight. "The sun is God" are said to be the last words spoken by Cyril's 'hero', JMW Turner before he died.
